On the Pudong side, (east) of the Huangpu River is the Lujiazui (陆家嘴) Financial District. At the time of this visit, there were 30 buildings containing more than 25 stories, with over 504 financial and insurance companies in the district. Some of the buildings featured below are the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Jin Mao Tower, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, Shanghai International Conference Center. Photos that were taken inside the Oriental Pearl TV tower face either Lujiazui or The Bund on the west side of the Huangpu River.
