Today, I participated in what would be my first hackathon. While it wasn’t based on competition, I was able to participate as a Purdue student and learn about new technologies from other talented individuals. During the 36-hour event, I learned how to program to an API, and gained experience in backend web-development (I’ve always worked on the front-end with design).
