When I was three years old, I had come in contact with my first piece of technology. My family purchased a computer for use with work, and occasionally would let me use it to play educational games. I had gained a love for computers and technology through my adolescent years. I told my mother, “One day, I want to work for Bill Gates and Microsoft”. That dream has come true 18 years later. I will be graduating on Saturday with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering. During commencement, I will proudly wear my mortar board, reflecting my future at Microsoft, as well as honoring the pieces that helped me get to where I am today. PUDM has provided me the opportunity to work on a project in the field I love, while benefiting a charitable organization on campus. The ECE Curriculum has provided me with academic experience and knowledge in material in preparation for the real world. In 2014, the OneDrive Team has provided me with an unforgettable internship, which in return has given me hands-on experience in the real world. And last, but certainly not least, my fellow Boilermakers have provided me with love, laughs and support throughout my college career. BOILER UP, and Hail Purdue!
Special thanks to my friends Andi and Nick for their craftsmanship assisting me with my cap.
