Every evening, cars, busses, and taxis line up along I-90 for the evening commute heading home towards Seattle. There’s even a pedestrian bridge adjacent to the highway for bikers to gain exercise or commute from Mercer Island to Seattle.
Sometimes, exploring the country via a mindless drive can lead you to magnificent views like this one.
You know it’s a good day in Seattle when you can see Mt. Rainier from any part of the city. Even though this mountain is 60 miles away, it still looks large enough to be a part of the city.
Bellevue is another city with skyscrapers that overlooks Seattle. They are across the Puget Sound from each other.
The full moon (out of frame) brightly illuminated the corn fields; it was so bright, that doing a performing a long exposure created a neat glow against the windmill. While it looks like this picture was taken at sunrise, it was actually captured just after midnight.
