Day 12 – Senior Year: Act Two

After a relaxing break, I’m glad to be back on campus. I’m looking forward to spending the last semester of my academic career at Purdue, and possibly my last few months in Indiana. The countdown to graduation begins!

Day 9 – The Cross

Every year, the Reynolds Family puts on a public show of Christmas lights from December through the beginning of January. Even though they put the decorations away, they always leave The Cross up until Easter. It shines brightly in the dark sky for drivers along SR-37 to see.

Day 8 – What’s Popping?

The streets were too slick to drive on, and it was certainly too cold to go outside. Instead, I spent the night with my best friend playing video games and snacking on popcorn.

Day 7 – Trying to Stay Warm

Today, the temperature hovered in the single-digits, while wind-chills were around -10 degrees. If anyone was going to survive going outside, surely he or she would have needed a cup of coffee in hand at all times.

Day 4 – Waking Up In Vegas

Several of my friends are spending their winter break in Las Vegas, Nevada. I nabbed this picture of the famous Las Vegas sign… 1,500 miles away.
For this photo, I was able to focus on my shutter speed and experiment with aperture/ISO settings in a low-lit area.
